Title: Disk for "Using ARexx on the Amiga"
Post by: LoadWB on May 19, 2012, 08:43:47 PM
Does anyone have or know where to find a DMS or ADF of the disk which belongs to the book "Using ARexx on the Amiga?"  I have the book but no disk.

That's it, thanks!  Dunno why that didn't turn up for me in Google.  Ah, well.

I've been starting to do more work in REXX leaning on my ARexx experience.  There's a pretty good Rexx interpreter out there called Regina.  It works in Windows and Unix (compiles fine for Solaris.)  Using the "rexxcps.rexx" script, I found that my 50MHz 68060 A4000 runs about 11,000 clauses per second versus 1.4 million for my Core2Duo XPx64 laptop and 330,000 on my Solaris 8 AMD K6-3+ machine.

If you need an Amiga book, magazine, or associated disks, http://www.bombjack.org  is THE place to go!
I should add, that if you help by sending stuff he doesn't have listed yet, you will be helping a great cause for all Amiga users.
