Title: CD ROM Audio
Post by: k4lmp on May 14, 2012, 01:22:29 AM
Does the A2000 motherboard have somewhere to connect an audio input from a CD drive, or do you have to have a soundcard installed.

Thanks,
Jeff

You need a soundcard. The 3000T has internal audio mixing, and I believe the 4000 and 4000T do as well.

I think Amigakit sells an audio mixer that is mounted on a backplane cover.  I believe it is a simple resistance (I don't know the resistance value, never seen one up close) network.

It's cool to have all Amiga audio (Amiga, CDRom, soundcard, MasPlayer, etc) available without intervention.
