Title: Trying To Use Apple Cinema Display On AmigaOne!
Post by: amiga1084 on May 06, 2012, 05:56:20 AM
Hello All,

I have two spare Apple Cinema Display's (20" and 23") monitors which I would like to use on my AmigaOne using the DVI port on my Radon card. But I get no display from my AmigaOne. I know both monitors work as they work fine on my G5 Macintosh without any problems. Has anyone use an Apple Cinema Display monitor on their AmigaOne or Sam's etc? I have heard they work on PC's. So what makes the AmigaOne different? Please I need your help!

Thanks in advance,
Merv Stent

They probably don't support scaling in the monitor, and rely on the videocard to scale to the correct resolution. So the AmigaOne is probably sending the wrong mode to the monitor.

Likely doesn't help you much Merv, but I've used a Cinema display with my SAM 440 a number of times with 0 issues.
