Sure I'm interested in the whole unit. Left a pm.
I live in NYS also. What rev mb is it? What is in it? What is wrong with it? What roms does it have?

Not too sure.. doesn't do anything. Shows nothing on the screen. I didn't dive to
far into it other than I checked the voltages from the PS and all checked fine as far
as that goes. Motherboard is in pristine condition. Battery removed and coin mod
added(not by me). Zero signs of previous battery leakage.

Matt,
Rev = 9 /01
bare no cards, Barracuda hard drive(not sure size atm) 030@25mhz.
Roms = V40.68
Screen shows nothing on boot up, even with HD unplugged. Didn't dig too deep other than check the voltages on the power supply--all good there. Floppy drive might be busted as the eject button is gone. Motherboard is in pristine condish. Eh not sure what else to say the front LED board is cracked and non working..I thought about soldering it back to life but not really interested the A3000. Some have suggested it was the best Amiga made.. not my opinion, but hey to each his/her own.

Black screens are a bad thing, dealing with one right now.
Still interested, nice to have spare parts to fix other amiga 3k's. How much memory does it have btw?
Will send you a pm with an offer. If you can pm pictures that would be nice.
Lot's of heated debates on here about the best Amiga ever made, it is very subjective. I truly believe the A3000 was the best Amiga ever made. (wish they made the 3000+).
What is your favorite Amiga?

Sell it off to Matt if he's interested, Rich - you'd have to ship it to me anyways.

Hi Duce,
You were first,didn't know you were interested. If you want it go ahead no big deal...

No worries Matt - better it go to someone in state that is in need of parts, so snap it up if it fits the bill and let us know how you make out with it.
PS: If you talk to Rich, tell him to get the back episodes of Carrier Whistle on the RSS feed. Want to listen to them again.

Matt,
I would say "no screen" vs a black screen..like no video signal going out. Unless that is what you mean as well. For all I know at the time I was testing her I had my monitor buttons set wrong in the back of the 1084S. I took pics and will PM them to you. I actually took her apart just to take pics.
Once I assemble her back together I will give a one more test. I will keep you posted on that for sure.
While I like the A3000 my fav is a toss up between the A1000 and A4000 each for their own reason..Probably the A1000 for the cool looks/design the power at the time of release, and the A4000 for power, expandability/flexibility yet still a simple design "best of the breed" if you will with AGA etc. Of course the A4000T could be considered best of the breed and all business but the thing is heavy and huge.
