hi folks long time since i been here so greeating amigans.

i have as in the top header , a near new condition GVP 8+ Series II. in a near perfect box :D
now it has a hard drive(not sure how big).
i`m a little out of touch with my systems (long work hours) ok winge over !!

the thing i need help with, what is the easiest way to transfer games and the OS to it.
i have the transfer leads and software, for 1200 but a 500+ ???
(i think i do have a 1mb ram in my A500 )

since im not really sure how to go about it i leave you guys for your answer and feed back questions.

it might possibly be for sale after wards hence i want maximum ££ $$, is it worth going to the time and effort ?

Adding games and OS won't help the resale value all that much, I'd wager, that stuff is half of the fun.

Just use the install disk and off you go. If your selling it however I just wouldn't bother. Just supply an install disk, the above link will give you the DMS file. DMS to ADF or to a real floppy is easy enough, just google it if you don't know how.

I agree with Tone007. The first thing i would do is wipe the harddrive. How much would you sell it for? Might be interested...

this is the standard of the box ,what do you think, want more Amiga Pron pics of it set up ? :D, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i want the money but i`ve had so long its like a spare limb, i paid a quite alot for it on fleebay. and since its now 5 yrs older i think if i asked for the same amount for its condition to a good home not some one looking to sell it on for profit !!
and since there is`nt many in this condition or for sale for that matter, i could be persauded(spelling). what`s it worth to you and what i want is another matter.

Nice find - A500 expansions are still highly sought after by the wedge box enthusiasts.

Personally, I don't see filling the HD with games would add much worth to it.  Make sure it's working, wipe the drive, and I'm sure you'll get good money out of it.
