Cloanto released today the long-awaited "R2" updates of its Amiga Forever 2012 and C64 Forever 2012 preservation, emulation and support packages for Windows. The new "R2" versions include hundreds of refinements that took more than eight months to develop, also taking into account user feedback received since the initial 2012 release last August. The new versions feature social and sharing functionality, improved content authoring, pervasive Unicode support and faster loading times.

Good stuff.
I downloaded the updates immediately.
Your packages are the only Commodore equipment I need.

I haven't been able to update to R2.
When I check for updates, it says everything is up to date.

Maybe you were already one of the very first to have it? :-)
"R2" is 2012.2.8.0. You can verify under Help/About.

Has anyone ever successfully installed the Linux that comes with Amiga Forever? I'd love to turn an Intel box into a supercharged classic but installation was pretty terrible a few versions ago.

I have to admit, I was confused by this update as I was expecting it to say "R2" somewhere in the description.......
