Hi,

Recently acquired an Amiga 500 (1 meg RAM) after many years of wishing I'd never sold the one I originally had! So, into the fold of a bit of retro computing......!

I grew up during my early teens with Amigas and have fond memories of these machines and am looking forward to getting back to grips with it. Hadn't realised there was still such a strong community around and people still actively developing software (albeit nothing I could run!!!).

Just have to get an exam out of the way on Monday and I can get it all set up and see if everything works as it should....... :lol::sealed:

So, welcome a newby.....!

Hi, Jestam1, welcome to the forums!  And welcome back to the Amiga addiction, once it has you, you never really leave. :)

Don't mind the locals, they are just crazy Amigans too.  Have fun!

Welcome to A.org .  Despite what you may hear from others we are not all crazies ... honestly, we're not... take me for example, I'm a goat worshipping vegetarian anarchist, can't get much saner than that can you!  :D

My fathers generation of my family grew up in New Zealand. They warned me to stay away from "that big island off the coast". I thought it was because everything in oz either bit or stung, now I know the truth. :/
