Title: Blizzard PPC&CV64/3D Problem
Post by: chkamiga on January 14, 2004, 04:41:14 PM
I have Postet this already at www.amiga-news.de
But nobody have a solution.

I have a A1200 with a ZorroIV-Board and a
BlizzardPPC with 240 MHZ and 060/50MHZ.

The System crash if a Cybervision(CGFX4.x) Screen
is open and a SCSI-acess is made.

The SCSI Bus is Okay, the BPPC alone is Okay.
The Jumper on the ZIV-Board are right.
The Energy +5 Volt Okay.

Maybe there are problems with the CV64/3D.
No anyone about Hardwareconflicts?
Maybe someone have a solution for that?

Hi chkamiga

how can you say, that the PSU is OK?

Reseat ALL the socketed boards and, if you can try with an another PSU.

GFX card screen + SCSI access= a lot of load on PSU.

Ciao

I Have a 230 or 250 Watt PSU. I have try it with
2 PSU one for the HDs/CDRoms and one for the
other. It dont Work. I have make a bypass between
+5V and the BPPC. It dont work.
I have buy a new A1200 Mainboard, it dont
Work.
Maybe i should buy a new ZIVBoard or a new
Grafik card.
