Post by: wrath of khan on March 30, 2012, 10:21:33 PM
Hi, There is currently a kickstarter campaign http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...riter?ref=live (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/539087245/spriter?ref=live)   running with the aim of creating a professional quality 2D animating   tool. Compatability with game authoring software such as Unity and   torque 2D is being worked on by 3rd parties. They have already raised of 8000 dollars in one day. The goal is to raise 25,000  dollars in total. Michael V.  Parent, one of the makers is a professional 2D  artist who worked on  Thor, the nintendo DS game. He is also a member of  team Natami who are  creating the Natami, Native amiga computer system http://www.natami.net/knowledge.php  I think it's a worthwhile campaign and sounds like a very useful tool  for videogame artists or designers etc. This tool could be instrumental  in creating cool new amiga games for the Natami. Im a longtime amiga fan  and I still have my old a500 tucked away in a wardrobe.Im very  interested in the Natami as it endeavours to follow the design  principles of the original amigas. What about you guys? What's your  opinion of the Natami project? I have posted about this in a few amiga forums to inform people about this.
