Title: Pegasos II motherboard revisions and ram etc.
Post by: Jose on March 21, 2012, 03:14:40 PM
Can someone post the differences between the different motherboard revisions ? It's not mentioned on the wiki and can't find it, I remember someone mentioning ram stability with 2gb or something but is it fixable ? Does it affect all ram modules or just some types ? Are there other differences between motherboard revisions ? ....

I don't know all the differences between revisions, but I can tell from experience that rev 2B3 does not work when both RAM slots are used, while 2B5 works just fine. I have mine with 1GB on each and never had a problem.

You might be able to find some info if you search powerdeveloper.org, I recall there was some discussions about this, where Matt also mentioned ram modules, etc...

EFREN

Depends on what version of OF is present. this the most important thing.

Ah ok... I don't know what OF version I had on the 2B3. I think I have the latest now on the 2B5 but I'll check just to be sure.

Thanks,
