Title: Negative value for SD card drive
Post by: The Mutt on March 18, 2012, 07:37:56 PM
G'Day Amiga fans

Finally managing to get some time for playing  around with my Amiga 4000D and 2000 again, first things first, my Amiga  4000D is out of storage, I'm waiting on a RGB to VGA scan  doubler/flicker fixer to arrive in the post, the SD card to IDE adapter  arrived last Friday, after a bit of coaxing I managed to get HDToolbox  to to let me create a single 4GB partition on the 8GB SD card, for some  reason I couldn't create a DH0: and a DH1: partition out of the 4GB?

When I selected Read Configuration in HDToolbox I got

Unit is not a disk (Type7)!

It then reported to me:

CYLINDERS               15993
HEADS                     16
SIZE                        -328640K (-320MEG)
BLOCKSPERTRACK       63
BLOCK PER CYLINDER  1008

The  DH0: partition Initialized and Formated fine, Workbench 3.0, CrossDOS  and a few other utilities loaded without issue, then while loading  AsimCDFS_v3 I got the error .......

Sorry an error has occured 150K needed on SYS:
You have -169740K free
Delete or transfer files from SYS: and try again

Anyone know where I mucked up or have a a workaround solution
