I want to get my first PCMCIA NIC for my A1200..
I've got these two choices.
Dlink DE-660+ (with twin dongle for BNC & RJ45)
or
Dlink DFE-670TXD (With built in RJ45 connector no dongle)
From the GMB Support page (http://www.g-mb.de/pcmcia_e.html
) it looks like both will support CNET.device with
DE-660+ - Recorded as YES and M68k Linux & NetBSD support as Should?
DFE-670TXD - 8 recorded as OK and one recorded as No ?
Hmm Im a unix head so I wouldnt mind trying it out on my a1200..
So whats ppl's opinion on the best NIC to get out of the above mentioned?

Settled for the DFE-670TXD since theres more keyword hits on Ami forums with a degree of success :)

And did it work? Did you also try this card with Linux?
I am currently getting my A1200 up and running with Debian unstable and I'm still looking for a PCMCIA network card that actually works since not all PCMCIA network cards supported by the Linux kernel are actually supported on the Amiga even when running the same version of the Linux kernel.
In general, only NE-2000-compatible cards as well as Amiga-native networking cards are supported.
I have just bought the DFE-670TXD online and report back once I got it.
