no, if you read carefully we won't die. We will just loose air conditioning, TV and the internet. People will have to listen to battery powered radios for news and, of course, communicate with each other in person.
In other words... we'll just wish we were dead...

Auroras, bitchin'. Now if only the weather can remain mild through Thursday so I don't have to view them through glass...

We have nothing to worry about in blighty, the flares can't punch through our British rain clouds. If they manage that I will eat my hat by crikey.

Considering the amount of Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror, Cryptic Slaughter and other audio nasties in my music collection I have only one thing to say to you; What a cheery little tune, I found it quite entertaining.

No, no. I think this is somehow related to the impending doom?

Sorry, I had to stop 10 seconds in. I just don't like preachy music like that...

Loose our internet and TV, we might as well just die then.. :)

If the electricity went out for very long then a lot of ppl actually would die. Starting with me.

Well we will all die eventually... That's a given: "I don't fear death, I just don't want to be there when it happens" - Woody Allen
But unless your life depends upon some machine that can't be powered by other means... You'll be fine ;)

Jim's shaft is ray-shielded, so we'll have to use proton torpedoes! ;)

Greetings,
Actually, I was at work when I felt the office was shaking as if I were on a boat. It happened around 11:30PM Manila time a magnitude 3ish. Kind of mild but I was on the 9th floor. I don't know if the solar flares were related to that earthquake thing but this flet like the end is near!
-- As long I have my Amiga with me I will survive thru 2012.. ^_^
Regards,

What? Phil Collins isn't dead.
-
I don't really understand this dislike towards Phil Collins, comedians joke about it from time to time; think Mock the Week was a usual culprit. If you want to dislike anyone, dislike Cliff Richard.
-
Well, he ruined Genesis, for one...
-
I'm sorry but this is just an advice of what it's going to happen in december, 21. As it's known the sun is going to melt us with radiations that will kill all of our electronic devices, leaving us in the stone age. Of course the majority of us will die of hungry, but it has a good side: it will kill politicians as well, so a new age without them will come...

So did Super NES.
-
I thought that Genesis tried to ruin Miami? :D

The other side of the story is that the ego of Gabriel killed the band. But that's 1974 and we should prolly move on...
And let's not bring up what Rod Stewart did to the Small Faces. Heh.
