Title: Starfield WB background?
Post by: husby on February 16, 2012, 10:16:03 AM
Hello all!
When i had an A500 i created a bootdisk with some handy utilities on, and ofcourse i had to make a flashy boot-sequence also :)
So i remember i had a small program that i started in my startup-sequence that created a 3d sideways scrolling starfield instead of the dull blue background.
I have tried to search, but can't find it.. does anyone recognize this?

Thanks!

Have you tried Google searching: starfield amiga workbench

http://www.amiga-stuff.com/pd/pdsoftv.html

Here it can be something you need I think...

Once I had a small program that when run, made a "A1200" logo spin in the WB background, I think it was written in AmigaE.
I have searched many of my disks and cant find it, it drives me crazy!!!
So, I know how you feeling.

@djnick, yeah, i've searched high and low... i've found wbstars on Aminet and stars on fish disk 22, but none of them is right...

@amiman99, Yep i'm probably not going to be able to relax until i've found it lol!

I guess this was somekind of wb hack, so i'll try to search some more and include "hack".
