The Magazine Obligement publish today an interview with Paul Gentle, co-founder of Varisys, the society behind the AmigaOne X1000 motherboard.
He speaks about the society, the PowerPC and the AmigaOne X1000.

That was a nice read and I don't normally do interviews, infact I've only read a couple ever LOL
I can assure him I've had a double great experience with the X1000 :hammer:

"Having the ability to run Linux makes the Nemo board a very good general purpose development platform. We have certainly played with it extensively here although the appetite for AmigaOS amongst the younger engineers seems to be a bit of an acquired taste."

THAT is a seriously disturbing idea.
On Paul Gentle, he's a knowledgeable designer who helped point me toward alternatives to the PA6T before it was acknowledged that his firm designed the X1000.
If Trevor ever does bankroll the Freescale Qorlq based successor that's been bandied about, I can't think of anyone else better to turn to for design assistance.
