ending tomorrow and I added:

How does that DCF-77 work? I guess I connect it to my Deneb or Spider via the USB adapter, but how does that box attached to it work? Does that simply get set via the software on floppy and then acts as an external clock? The software then updates the Amiga clock on power-up via a script in the startup sequence?

I am not sure for the USB-version. For the serial version you just install the package from the aminet and all is perfect. I assume this is similar for the USB-version too.
