Title: Homebrew A200 keyboard adapter
Post by: curtis on February 05, 2012, 11:16:42 PM
Okay, I was digging around in "the box" and found this little item.  Don't remember when or where I picked it up.

It appears to be a homebrew keyboard adapter for using PC keyboard on an Amiga 2000, possibly 3000 also.  I don't know!

All I have is an A500 and a couple of minimigs, so I cannot test it.

Don't know if it works, so here's the deal.

If anyone wants to take a chance on it, it's yours for shipping costs.  I figure Parcel Post will be the cheapest.  Obviously, anyone overseas that is interested, it might be a bit more than it's worth even if it works.

When you get it in, try it out.  If it works and you're feeling generous, I'll take any donation you feel appropriate.  If that amount is 0, so be it.  Entirely your call.

If you get it in, and it doesn't work.  Sorry.  At least you're only out the cost of shipping.

Pictures enclosed below.

I'd be curious as to know just what that was also. Seems to be an awful lot of circuitry in there... might have some macro shortcut key functions maybe?

I used to have an adapter exactly like this. It worked quite well too.
