I feel very rusted playing with Amiga problems :)
I'm trying to have my old Quake 2 game (for PC) to run on my Sam460. I found the free quake2.lha file on a the web and I've copied my PAK file in the baseq2 folder then I set stack to 100000 and when I try to run the game it says "couldn't create window".
Isn't there a config.cfg file that I need to create with specific commands in it? If so what are they?
Or should I buy the Hyperion port and be happier?
Edit: I have a Radeon HD4650 and 2G ram on the Sam
Thanks

that's probably because there is no miniGL support for the SAM460ex at the moment. you might be able to edit the configuration file to force it to use full-screen and software rendering, though. i just don't know how to do that. there is an existing thread on amigans.net (http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum/viewtopic.php?topic_id=5165&forum=11) discussing this very issue. you might want to join the discussion there.

Yeah I figure its a video setting problem especially since there is no 3d support yet. I'll keep looking for the commands to add to the config file.
As for amigans.net I can't seem to be able register, I never got an answer....

So since I can't find a config file example anywhere....is the game still available for sale at Amigakit? Anyone?
