Got a few things today..
1. A4000 HighFlyer with a Sonnet 040 doubler :), has a FastlaneZ3 card, and an OpalVision card, sadly she does not boot :(, dare I say yet. Not sure what is going on with her.
2. A couple of new keyboards, never used still in plastic, including the black one you see
in the pic :).
Just thought I would share.
Thanks
Rich

 WOW, you're so lucky finding that keyboard! And still in new condition, what a dream come true! I've wanted one forever for my CD32, where did you get it?

Thanks Cammy.. Got it from an old friend/huge Amiga fan who is slowly handing off
his collection to me. The keyboard still has the plastic on the coiled part :).
Not sure why the A4000 doesn't work though :(.

Looks like a great system. Man why don't I have friends who give away stuff like this? All I ever get is cast of 8 year old pcs....

Same here. People treat me like a recycling center, but I never get anything cool.

LOL, same although i did meet a guy who had an old A2000HD, some 500 MBs and some more rare items like the Midget Racer stuffed in a barn he let me have. Repaired and restored the 2000HD to working condition and two 1000s to working condition also. Was nice, but I want more:)

In May 2010 a guy contacted me out of the blue and gave me all of this. The list is pretty endless as you can see from below the images... The generosity of some people is amazing. That was a wonderful day for me.

Here's just the more important items from the list..
Amiga 3000 with A-MAX II+ by Readysoft Mac Emulator
Computer has two hard drives. Battery replaced in 2003.
A4000 EC 030 with 1.2 GB HD CyberGraphics and CD Rom
A4000 030 Basic no boards
Amiga 1000 complete with mint box and Spirit board
Amiga 1000 in original Commodore blue red box mint
Amiga 1000 complete in original Amiga 'tick' box
Amiga 600 with 80mb hard drive
Amiga 600 in Commodore blue red box 80mb HD + memory card
Amiga 600 - The Wild The Weird The Wicked
Amiga 500 Cartoon Classics plus expansion
Amiga 500 with Workbench 1.3
Amiga 500 Screen Gems with all seals intact - Removed A501 cheese
Amiga CDTV - Complete in original Commodore blue red box
Amiga CDTV without box complete with remote, keyboard this
unit fitted with adaptor for two mice.
..... and on and on and on and on.
I am very fortunate I have been gifted whole lofts and garages full of stuff and often have travelled to folk to receive whole collections, often in mint with all the boxes. I once went to a house and taken into the loft and told I could have everything and there was just endless Amiga and Commodore kit and games, software etc. Never a dull moment collecting I have to say.... And I still have it all.
Great picture of the 2000HD by the way. Do look after it. Classic machine.

I was just given a A2000HD, but it came with no keyboard or mouse. I just finally bought a keyboard off ebay for just under $18.00. The coiled part of the cable has been stretched (looks ugly!) but its guaranteed to work though. Using one mouse between three Amigas will be interesting until I can find another rodent.

Hey Scuzz, you on the East Coast too? Seems like you guys have all the luck this way. Arcade machines too. Damn!

I actually live in a forest..... in England. Technically the South Coast. I just made many friends from my years on the groups and buying stuff on Amibench. The guys never forget and at some stage decide to donate me their kit rather than have it broken up. Amiga users do tend to get quite attached and they just don't want their kit to get split and sold, and worse broken into pieces or abused. I get mail all the time from folk asking how their machines are, and they can see their computers on the internet on the site.
Even through work I get gifted stuff. Amazingly I was at a meeting once and this person gave me a cardboard box. She said inside was an old circuit board I could have that belonged to her husband. Turned out to be a KIM. Best ever was when I went to buy my first 1500 and the guy asked if was I interested in towers... Behind the door was a 3000T that he didn't want anymore. I actually said I didn't want it cus I knew how valuable it was but he insisted and so it came home with me.
That last guy gave me the three boxed 1000s and he wanted nothing. When it turned out I was given all of the contents of his loft I just had to give him some money. He kept his 4000d though.
I enjoy travelling cus when you collect people generally give you a load more stuff. And its always fun getting home and playing. But then I've been playing with Amigas a very long time.
