Title: Best placement for VGA and USB on an A600 ?
Post by: Sparky on January 28, 2012, 09:31:10 AM
Hi there,

Anyone got some pointers on the best placement for a VGA connector and USB connectors in an A600 case ?
I've an IndivisionECS and a SubwayUSB in mine and want an elegant place to cut the holes for the connectors.

Thanks!

Best place for the VGA-connector is to remove the tv-modulator and put it there.

My USB ports are on the left side of the case, left from the vents.
My VGA port is cut in the upper back part of the case.
I couldn't resolve to remove anything from the mobo (including the RF modulator) to put it there.
RF modulator is cool. I like the idea that i have 4 ways to output a video signal from this computer(RF, composite, RGB and VGA) and that i can use it virtually on any possible screen.

I've removed the modulator and placed the VGA there, works perfect. It even screws right in the shielding, no need for glue etc.

I have also removed the serial port and will be placing two USB connectors in it's place.
