Does anyone remember the old Amiga IRC channel #amiga on the network amiganet.org ? It used to be run by a couple of fellows with the handles "Blotto" and Jkay if I recall correctly. It also featured a bot named Darxide, and had servers like whiterose, spod, thule and so on. It used be the place to go back in the day, and would feature live Q&A interviews online with guests at the big World of Commodore trade shows. It looks like it finally died out recently. I wonder what finally happened to it. Does anyone know ?

also after 17 years the channel #amiga_warez at galaxynet still exists
and was the most popular irc amiga channel in the history peaking around 1997-1999 with an average of 100 users or more at any hour
The piracy there was extreme....being the favorite site of amiga funs in those years where new warez where done and spreaded every day
that channel is still controled by a crazy guy named Jimmy and his bots...however now there is few ppl ....and I always wonder...what are they doing there? I can't understand
