How is the youtube on 1.5GHz G4?
Mine is 1.25GHz and it's not pleasant to watch.

I can't tell about OSX, but with MorphOS and OWB, you can watch YouTube in normal quality (360/480p) at about 20-30% cpu usage, in overlay mode, when using HTML5 video.

Works fine for me in HTML5 mode.  Forget flash though.

Actually if you use Camino Browser, youtube and other flash videos are not that bad!
