I have the following 2 A1200 accelerators for swap.
Mtec 1230 with FPU and full 68030 + 8MB - Working fine
Apollo 1240 (68040 @ 28Mhz) + 16MB - Non working*
The Apollo worked fine until one day the Amiga froze and would not reboot. Just a black screen. Very rarely it might boot but only to crash after a few seconds/minutes. I tried replacing the crystal and re-seating the mach chips but other than that i am not very technical and won't attempt to repair the card myself. The CPU fan works fine and the CPU does get warm (not hot). The battery was removed before leaking and the board looks great. No visable damage. Might be an easy / cheap fix. It has the mach130 chip.
The M-Tec on the other hand is working perfectly with no problems. The battery clip for the RTC looks like it was repaired at some point and is not very neat. I am sure that the RTC will work with a new battery but to be honest i can't be bothered with it as it is not important and does not affect the performance of the card in any way.
What i want is a Phase5 Blizzard 1230MKIV with FPU and at least 64MB ram. Must be in excellent condition. I will swap both the working Mtec and the non working Apollo for one.
Pics available on request.

About apollo, could it be that you have SCSI pins open? It could do that?

How do you mean? The part on the board which says SCSI has no pins just holes and is partially covered by what looks like the ROM.

I meant jumpers
Jumper OFF ON
SCSI Disable SCSI Autoboot Enable SCSI Autoboot

Yes SCSI is disabled.
