Hi,
I managed to find 2 A1200's (One CBM and One ATech) and 3 A500's. I was able to test them as one of my friends has an A500 with a power supply and a mouse and only one A500 seems to be not working (Dead floppy drive).
However, I have no mouse and no power supply. I don't suppose anyone in the US/Canada has one or both of these items floating around that they do not need anymore?
Thanks,
Chris

Amigakit has several mouse options at http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=49?¤cy=USD Personally, I prefer using an optical PS/2 trackball thru an adapter. They're very reliable.
They may have power supplies as well. If not, you could adapt an old PC power supply (Those made before the +3.3VDC power was included). It would have a higher wattage capability and could easily drive side car peripheral too without breathing hard.

Does anyone have experience with this adapter since it allows PS/2 and USB and installs inside the Amiga 1200?

just as long as you realize that the USB is not true USB but requires a mouse that came with one of those USB adapters. The mouse must still support the PS2 protocol.

Never seen one before. That looks like the best solution that I've seen yet.
And I thought I was showing you the way.

I was going to pick up one of these, but not supporting usb would put me off a bit.

With all the chips that support USB these days, I'm suprised they don't support it though.
Especially as they say "any cheap pc usb mouse".

I'm unfortunately in the US. I found an old AT power supply that I'm going to try to use. Hopefully I can get it working.

Ok no probs, let us know how you get on :)

Good news, I found an old AT power supply and was able to modify it to use a different power jack that I found at Radio Shack. All I need to do is mount the mating adapter into the Amiga and heatshrink the power cables coming out of the power supply to make it look better and I'm done.
I also found an old Atari ST mouse that I modified so it tracks correctly on the Amiga, so it looks like my Amiga 1200 is up and running! I brought in the new year playing "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego"
