Hello i alaways have the next problem.
I have an amithlon box (Native Matrox G450 dual head card).
Amiga 4000 Voodoo 3 3000 prometheus board 68060.
Im using AmigaOS 3.9 and Picasso 2.1c on both.
I have the next monitors Viewsonic 24" 1920x1200 and Samsung 22" 1920x1080.
I was naver able to create a custom resolution that i can get the monitor to auto adjust correctly to it i tried for ours changing refresh rate changing settings on picasso 96. But theres no way to get them to correctly adjust to the modes. I can get the native resolution running easy but the screen never fit correctly and the monitor cant autoadjust.
Theres any metod i can follow to get the correct settings for my monitors other than trial and error i spend hours tring but to no avail.

Don't remember exactly but on picasso96mode test screen keep left ctrl down and use alt/shift/arrow keys to tweak the screen size and position.

Well, first of all grab your Monitor's manual and where they sync at the required resolution (KHz/Hz Positive/Negative etc settings).
Input those in the P96 settings and then TEST and as zipper said... Play for LONG time with arrow keys and Alt/Ctrl.
It's seriously a pain in the a$$ but after some time and if you're lucky... You're gonna be really happy!!!
That's how I done 1360x768 on my really old Mediator 1200 setup displaying on my old 23" LCD/TV

I tried that but i was unable to get it, theres a less random way to get it ? theres no text file for the mode i can edit to enter more precise data.
What about moving the image arround the screen and the other settings i cant get them i have a modeline from linux but using the editor is imposible to enter something like them
