Title: Open Beats of Rage 3.0 released for AmigaOS 4.x
Post by: SysAdmin on December 19, 2011, 04:08:33 AM
News from K-L via amigaworld.net

Hugues "HunoPPC" Nouvel (http://clubevolution4.com/HunoPortSDL/) strikes again and has just released Open Beats Of Rage 3.0 for AmigaOS 4.1.

This new version has been greatly enhanced and loading times have been reduced to minimum (as if you were playing on a console with a cartridge, really impressive). Amongst other news : support for multiple joypads, a wider GUI and some bugfixes.

Moreover, Zelda Solarus DX (a sequel of the Zelda games released on Super NES/Famicom) is also available but only in French at the moment, localisations are being worked on and should be available soon.

Can BOR be ported for Classic AGA AOS 3.1? Is the 030/040 too slow for BOR?

BOR used to work on my GP32 which was 133mhz maybe you could do something on an 060 @66mhz+ but I doub't 040 would cut it.

OS3.x (if it were ported) & 160mhz+ PPC might do it though :)
