I'm very new to Amiga OS4 and just recently purchased a second hand AmigaOne. I was wondering if AmigaOS4 has a similar feature to the Windows task manager where I can view and stop unresponding programs? I have run into a few instances where the only way I could recover was via a soft reboot. Is there a program built into the OS which does this or is there something I can download from OS4depot?

I did have a program that could try and remove orphaned screens and such from memory a long time ago but i forgot the name of it. Anyway, it never really worked that well (often crashed) because AmigaOS has no resource tracking so there really is no way for such program to know what belongs to what and if its being used or not.
I'm not sure is OS4 is any better, but I doubt it.

Exorcist in OS4Depot, this program shows all the open task and screens, and you can kill it from there.
