I have this RAM board for A1000 and would like to install it, but the install description is not friendly. http://www.bboah.com/index.php?action=artikel&cat=69&id=3178&artlang=en
The install says that: "clip labelled J2 should be connected to the Chip labelled "P" on the ROM daughterboard. It connects to the pin on the right hand side of the chip, 10 pins in from the back of the machine. The next pin down is for connecting the clip labelled J1"
I have no idea how to interpret that.
Can anyone help me with that?
Thank you

I Used to have the Spirit Indoard RAM Card on my A1000 and found it to be problematic, I was much happier with my Ax1000 2 MEG ram Expansions.
I'll look around and see if I can find better instructions.

I already have one, so I got to get it to work. Thanks

If you're still working on getting it to work, I recently dug up all of my old amiga stuff to transfer my old disks to ADFs. I have the original spirit inboard 1000 documentation and I can scan the relevant pages and email them to you. Hmmm I wonder how hard it would be to add one as an attachment to this forum post.

Yes, I got it to work. I used a photo I found on the web which showed the clip positions.
If you have the diagram, it would be great if you can post it here, for future reference.

I finally got a chance to scan the diagram. A stupid cold sidelined me for awhile. I scanned the entire manual, but it's too big to post on the forum.

Thanks, at least we have a copy in the forum for future reference.
The manual is available here http://amiga.resource.cx/manual/Inboard1000.txt, but the diagram was missing.
It would be nice if this diagram was posted in the Amiga Hardware Database.
