Title: Ebay on Amiga Help
Post by: on September 09, 2002, 08:15:54 PM
Does anyone out there have luck using their Amiga with
Ebay? I have Voyager 3.x, Ibrowse 2.2, and Aweb 3.4 all registered
and have serious troubles logging into ebay and using its features.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I cant stand using my Imac for
webbrowsing! Go amiga!

Well, its been a looooooooong time since I used ebay from home (i now browse it in my lunch break at work ;), but it did used to work with IBrowse 2.2 registered.

If they've changed something and broken it, maybe the forthcoming IBrowse 2.3, or AWeb APL releases will fix it...

I regularly post auctions and browse through eBay on my Amiga using IBrowse2.2 with no problems.. except one.

From some pages, the links appear with spaces in them and pages will not display.  I find this is mostly the case when going to links from My eBay.  I simple removed the spaces from the URL and bookmarked those pages.  No problems.

Although.. sometimes eBay crashes my system when posting auctions.  I have not yet traced this to a specific program or simply a faulty configuration on my Amiga.
