Title: AGA Demos - past year or so...
Post by: blakespot on January 08, 2004, 01:04:02 PM
I sold my Amiga 1200 060 almost two years ago.  I am now rebuilding one.  I had been accumulating demos for the machine during my time with it and want to get that going again.  What are some impressive AGA demos over the past 2 years or so I may have missed out on?  Any links also?  Thanks.

Any other thoughts?  I will soon have all pieces in hand to build my 060 66MHz A1200 for demos.  Thanks.

hooligan: almost only OLD demos in that list.

there was 5-10 aga prods in 2003 , a very bad year and only 1-3 demos where any good at all,and maybe a couple intros where ok..

2003 was and will be the worst year in amiga scene history.

(i hope our mental demo made someone happy atleast, though not many voted on it in the last issue of eurochart!)

desert dream by keffrens was the last non-aga demo by the peeps, then they all split up and went their own ways :(

Latest AGA-demos worth seeing (which comes in my mind quickly):

2003 released:
Mental by Push Entertainment
Magia by TBL
Light II by Iris
Fake Electronic Lightshow by Ephidrena
Dark Helmets by Spaceballs
Sumolysbryter by Ephidrena
The Plague by Spaceballs

2002:
Dark Rain by Loonies
Scrimm by Spaceballs
Plan-B by Iris
Tribute by Scarab
Mind Matter Electricity by Reason
Electroluxus by RNO
Little Nell by TBL

Hmmm.. heh.. actually it seems, that year 2003 was better on "must see" 68k/AGA demos than 2002 :) At least in my opinion. Otherwise amount of prods is decreasing badly all the time. Do something for it people!

You can download all mentioned demos and lots of other demos & scene prods from:
