Image: Turbo Chameleon 64 with Docking Station **
Docking Station for Turbo Chameleon 64 (http://www.vesalia.de/e_chameleon.htm)
Four Joystick Ports, Keyboard Connectors and Minimig Support*
The TC64 Docking Station comes with a multitude of connectors:
- four joystick ports
- one connector for a C64 keyboard
- one connector for an Amiga 500 keyboard
- one connector for a Minimig board (http://www.vesalia.de/e_minimig.htm)
Image: Docking Station without TC64
With the TC64 Docking Station attached, the Chameleon in stand-alone mode can use up to four joystick ports simultaneously. Furthermore, you can also connect a C64 keyboard or an Amiga 500 keyboard (even both at the same time).
The Turbo Chameleon 64 (http://www.vesalia.de/e_chameleon.htm) must be flashed with core Beta-7 or newer (you can always download the current core from beta.icomp.de (http://beta.icomp.de/)).
The Docking Station is mounted on a solid base plate with rubber feet to ensure stable operation.
Package Contents:
- Docking Station incl. base plate
- Operating instructions
The Turbo Chameleon 64 (http://www.vesalia.de/e_chameleon.htm) is not included with the Docking Station.
Notes:
* An additional cable is required to connect the Minimig board (http://www.vesalia.de/e_minimig.htm).
** The image shows a mounted Turbo Chameleon 64, which is not included.

Nice add-on.
Is it compatible with other Amiga keyboards than the A500 one?
I would really like to see some kind of ethernet support in Amiga/Minimig mode for this device.

Just out of interest, what are the differences between clone-a and chameleon, if both can emulate an amiga?

What is the Turbo Chameleon 64? Is it still the same device as the Chameleon 64?

From what I've seen in various discussions:
Chameleon is a board, and I believe has a port of the Minimig core, and Minimig is somehow derived from WinUAE. Terasic DE1 is another board with a Minimig core ported to it. The original "Minimig board" is also "just an FPGA board", which of course had the Minimig core inside.
Clone-A is based on Jens and Co. doing lots with a logic analyzer on actual Amiga chips, and presumably would have more exact timing matching between components (between parts of the core). It sounds like he also put undefined/illegal values into real chip registers to see what happened and probably tries to clone those results as well.
They are different implementations toward the same overall goal. Kindof like Phase 5 and GVP both made 68040 CPU accelerators, but they were not identical products in every detail.
aoOCS is a third such thing to compare Minimig and CloneA cores to.

Wow, finally some new Amiga hardware at a very reasonable price. Keep up the good work.

MInimig has a real 68k cpu

MiniMig has nothing at all to do with WinUAE.

MiniMig has nothing at all to do with WinUAE.

Also, because Winuae and Winfellow already exist, I have the luxury of being able to look how they did it when I'm stuck. (which I did on some occasions)
OK, maybe the 6 years since his post have exaggerated my memory of how much he based his design on how UAE did things, but he did use UAE as a reference to some degree.

The Terasic DE1/DE2 port of the Minimig core does not.

I find this very very cool device. However, after seeing some pics, it doesnt make clear for me as to where the Docking Station will be located. Next to the Chamaleon cart? On top? Can anybody clarify this please?
Kind Regards
Sebastian

The Chamaleon 64 is like a cartrige for C64, and can be connected to a real C64, with this, the C64 has more memory, speed, turbo loader, and you can use SD cards for storage. But you can use it in stand alone mode too, and connected to the dock station.
You can see it connected here : http://www.vesalia.de/e_chameleondock[7760].htm
In stand alone mode, we have C64 core, Minimig core (Amiga 500) and now a Spectrum 48 core
