Dizzy........An 8bit looking game on Amiga best forgotten IMO
-
Still nice of whoever owns the Codemasters name these days to acknowledge the old Miggy, though Dizzy was more of an 8-bit thing, innit?
Is the Dizzy name known outside of Europe, UK particularly, at all?
-
I don't even have a vague memory of that game...was it very addictive?
-
Shady's Back! :P
-
Wow, Dizzy is back!!!.
-
Shady's Back! :P
LoL! Instantly what comes to mind everytime I hear that.
Guess who's back. Back again. Shadys back. Tell a Friend........ :P

Yeah exactly it was more of an 8-bit game, but I do remember playing... Treasure Island Dizzy on the A500 many many moons ago. Addictive game for sure, was never very good at it myself, found it tough! :roflmao:

Thought you were talking about Franko!
...never did care much for the egg myself, but I love the vid!
-
A little wink from Codemasters there maybe, the Amiga 1200 in the video is clearly alive.

For those who say it's more of an 8 bit thing. I think the maker of the video does realise that as the dizzy box they show is one of the Dizzy collection packs from the C64 and at the end of the advert you can hear the spectrum loading sound.
As for the new Dizzy game unfortunately it's just an IOS/android port of the Prince of the Yolkfolk.

Can't blame them, the market is very good for 8bit games ported to phones.....
What amazes me is that if you release a game like this one for PC people will laugh but on their stupid phone its the product of the year...
