Damn!  Wish the seller would have taken a little more time to list some more details, but if it ends up going forcheap because of that, might be fun to take a chance on it!

Good lord!. Yea, That could be a gold mine or just complete crap. I'm going to watch it just to see. I bet the bidding doesn't go very high....

I just kicked off the bidding. After all, it does say 'Free Shipping'.

On second thought, I think I'm gonna pass. All too many times, I've gone to a site like this where the seller throws out names such as Commodore, Atari, Apple and it ended up being 99% IBM crap. I'm just not seeing enough cool vintage stuff to justify the hassle in moving a bunch of that. We're not sure how this stuff was stored all these years too. Freezing cold temps or a place with high humidity and kiss your disks (at the very least) goodbye. Gamble still might be fun if someone wants to go in with me on it as I'm only an hour and half away, just wish I could see stacks and stacks of non-IBM stuff. Already have plenty of good NOS blank 5-1/4's to last me a lifetime and that's another thing I kinda see going on here. Tons of blank disks because whoever had this collection, was adept at pirating software. ;)

Ill be in on the deal money-wise ( including shipping on stuff id want and some sort of compensation on the work done ), but i live in sweden so i cant share the effort of moving/going through all the stuff.

The line "There should be at least one full system for each format but I can't guarantee that" says to me that it's mostly books and disks and crap.  That much stuff and not 4 complete computer systems?  No thanks.

Wow, so this only went for $610. I wonder what the real story is behind this lot. I'm envisioning a lonely guy that loved his computing and gaming that had a touch of the "hoards". Guy passed away and someone ended up with all his stuff.

Be nice if we ever get to find out what all was in that lot. Too bad the seller couldn't be bothered with listing just a few more details. Could have made themselves a lot more money. Or not.

The writing on the wall says it`s a load of crap.  If it was boxes and boxes of old consoles and bits of hardware the guy would have to be be a lunatic to sell it in a way that guarantees rock bottom bids like this.  Think how little retro gear you need to make 1000$.  I`d love to know what turns up in there though...
