Just saw PA 3... the main guy..he's using an Amiga 2000 with a Video Toaster... you cant see the machine but you can tell by the keyboard.
Correct me if I'm wrong... the toaster came out in 1990... yet in the movie, it was set in 1988.

I think part 3 of this dreadfully dull series is supposed to be a prequel.
If that's the case then it would make sense to see an old Ami in it.
Good eye if that's what it is! :)
-
Nice catch. Maybe the guy was a Toaster betatester!

I think I would rather watch Jersey Shore.

And this movie isn't of Ghostes, well, here you have one, an Amiga.
-
The Amiga's not a ghost! It's a zombi ;)

Guys,
One thing led to another and I remember finding out that Oren Peli (Producer and Writer (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2305431/) for the Paranormal Activity franchise) is the same Amiga programmer who created Photon Paint (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photon_Paint).
More about him here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oren_Peli).
Pretty cool I'd say for a guy to have such a varied resume in two different, albeit very creative endeavors.

Given that he will want to publicise PA3, he might be prepared to do an interview with an Amiga size/magazine? Anyone know how or what to do?
-
Andres (spelling) of Amiga Future needs contacted about this! :)
-
Kickass observation! I love tidbits like this. :)
-
Somehow this series seems a little less crappy to me all of a sudden. :)

Well, perhaps we will see one Amiga in the TV serie "Walking Dead"

VingtTrois : You must look here then : http://obligement.free.fr/articles/amiga_television_cinema.php
The Video Toaster was demoed in Comdex 1987 but publicly released in 1990. So the character must use a prototype ;-)
-
You dont actually see the A2000 but you know thats what it is with the keyboard and mouse. The monitor is a 1084 I believe and the Toaster screen is displayed.

Oups, I was thinking that it was an old movie! :(

Yeah, I know your great (legendary) website! Thank you Daff!

I wrote Andreas Magerl of Amiga Future and he forwarded the message to Anton who he says does all the interviews.
Will see....
