Title: Gloom editor?
Post by: fishy_fiz on October 20, 2011, 11:29:49 AM
Can anyone tell me please if there's some sort of editor for Gloom? (any of the gloom games will do). I seem to recall there was one, but cant find it if it does exist.

Just for kicks Id like to have a go at making a level or 2.

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, there is one. It was not very stable on my systems when I gave it a try years ago, but was fully functional and promising for sure.

That reminds me, does any one know how the re-write of Gloom is progressing?

I for one would love to play with a gloom editor and if some one have an editor for Breathless, then please release it :)

You can download it here. (http://minniatian.republika.pl/Gloom/GloomED.lha) It originally came on two floppy disks. It enables to create/edit maps and replace graphics (textures and objects) in Gloom. It is created by the authors of the game (Black Magic).
