As many ImageFX owners from the past few years can tell you the
ImageFX manual was out of print and even hard to find used. The
manual, although limited to ImageFX 2.0, was a treasure-trove of
tutorials and references to ImageFX.
Now, after a massive effort in print-preparation, the ImageFX manual
is available again!
The manual now incorporates all ImageFX features from the 2.0 through
the 4.5 Studio release in one perfect-bound volume now with over 500
pages.
Lavishly illustrated and packed with tips, tricks, tutorials and more.
Thanks to modern online print-on-demand services you can now order the
manual directly from the link below.
ImageFX 4.5 Studio has retained it's low price of $69.95 and now you
can order the manual for only $49.95. A whole nickle below it's
original price! Yay! A nickle!

Also now available, thanks to the team at BlitterWolf, is a highly
useful installer for ImageFX for OS4. This installer makes the
formerly delicate process of installing ImageFX on OS4 quite simple.
It's free and can be found at:

Hello Kermit!
Long time since I have seen you post anything on any Amiga forum site, hope all is well with you.
$49.95 is a lot for an online book (for me anyways), but I am a sucker for printed manuals and Amiga related books, so I am sure I will buy it, print it out and put it into a nice ring binder.
I purchased ImageFX 4.5 Studio a very long time ago, but always had trouble installing it, so have used an older version for years. Any chance that I could get some installation help from you, or anyone else connected to ImageFX?
I also want to use it from MorphOS, in addition to my 68k "Real" Amiga systems, so do you think an improved installer for MorphOS3.0 could be written, similar to the AmigaOS4.x installer?
Great to hear from you again. I hope you have not given up on Amiga software (or hardware) completely and that this involvement with the IFX4.5 manual signifies a return to working on Amiga projects for you.
Edit: My mistake, it appears that this is not an online download book. It is a paperback book that is available for online ordering.

How about the frustrating install process us MorphOS users must endure?
-
Have you tried running the OS4 installer with OS4Emu?
-
Oh ya, that thing...
good idea!
-
Sorry, but where's the news?
The manual is from January 2010 (http://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2010-01-00033-EN.html) and the installer is from May (http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=graphics/misc/ifx45install.lha).

Actually I believe its just online ordering for a real printed manual supplied by a publisher who specialises in print on demand publishing.
As I ordered the ImageFX4.5 manual from them in early last year.
@kwoodall
Is this the same version as I purchased last year?

If you are going to quote me, quote all of my post as I edited it within minutes after I posted it.
This news item from Kermit did seem to bring back a faint memory that I had read it before.

Thanks for making this known.

WOW a nickel!
Considering its something amiga, you should just be happy its not 100$ more since its "retro"!
I had a copy of this some time ago lost it in a hard drive failure. I'd like to get the latest version someday.
