Title: 68k libsdl, etc.
Post by: fishy_fiz on October 14, 2011, 03:32:42 PM
If I recall correctly there was an updated libsdl for 68k/os3.x not too long ago? Can anyone tell me if this is right, and if so where I might find it please? Also, was it just libsdl, or where some other sdl based libs updated too ? (libsdl_net, libsdl_gfx,libsdl_mixer, etc, etc.)

Also, and not as immediately important, but are there any good sources for 68k development around still? I think I may have mentioned it before, but an updated gcc "pack" would be very handy. At the moment Ive just slightly updated "Louise's" setup that used to do the rounds.

Bernd Roesch is probably the man to speak to.

Failing that, I'd try Jason McCullan, Toni Wilen or Karlos.

Uh, that's Jason McMullan.

Anyway, libSDL is in the AROS contrib tree, and the only thing keeping it from working out-of-the box on AOS 3.x is the fact that our C library is not (currently) AOS 3.x compatible.

I'm working on that, but in the meantime you can grab the AROS contrib tree and use it as a start for porting libSDL to AOS 3.x

Whoops!

I even double checked the spelling before I typed your name. Sorry!

Try to EAB, there are plenty of 68k coders
