Vesalia doesn't have them on their site, any other idea's ?
-
Hmm, I've seen some floating on ebay, but they generally are pretty expensive.
I got mine cheap though amibench, and I think it was from the people they were originally build them. Might want to try posting a wanted ad there. (Sorry I cant find his contact info).
But, you'd be better of getting a cyberstorm for your miggy, anyway.

I got one directly from Torsten Gruner, probably the owner, and perhaps he can help you too.

just one thing, Cyberstorm == _EXPENSIVE_ ;-)

Yeah, I know ;-)
But, you could always find a MK2 040 for about 100 euros, which is not that bad (in terms of amiga hardware prices, that is). ;-)

@Orjan
Is the one pictured the A3000D model? If so, it will not be compatible with accellerator cards (not sure how the memory and fast slot sit on the A3000T). I wish the AmiSIMMFast was still available. It was a really nice product.
-
Are there any details (schematic level) about for the AmiSIMMfast? Is it another SIMM to ZIP converter?
If there is enough interest/demand I could possibly looking at building a short run of them if it's something simple like SIMM to ZIP.

I did some searching and found this:
http://aminet.net/hard/hack/PS2_adapter.readme (and the file http://aminet.net/hard/hack/PS2_adapter.lha ofcourse)
it seems to be more or less just a mechanical adapter from the ZIP package connectors to the SIMM edge connectors.
Could you give an estimate at how much it would cost to build such a thing ?
-
Well what is the point in useing such a pice of hardware today ? If you were ever to find such a thing it will cost half of an entry level turboboard since it is quite rare.

@Adolescent
Yes, it is the 3000D version pictured, and yes, an accellerator card will not fit on top of it. But if you just want 16Mb RAM, then it´s the perfect choice... :)
