Title: Philips CM8833-11 monitor
Post by: Pete on January 05, 2004, 02:35:34 PM
I just cannot get anyone to come and fix the above monitor, nobody wants owt to do. Plumbs are so expensive its not worth it. Even if they said they would look at it, its a fixed £45 labour and £30 deposit, then parts and then you can add VAT. Yeah! banana boat springs to mind.
But a ray of hope is that this guy says he will have a look at it but he will need a Service Circuit Diagram.

Would anyone have a better chance than me of finding one on the net? Any help apprciated, the guy is calling on Thursday morning 8th.
Thanx in advance.
P

BTW anyone live near me? I'm near St Helens, UK
Born here in 1951.

It seems someone can't stand the idea of me getting a bargain, I thought Ebay was the place to outbid :pissed:

I think we are crossed wired here. I wasn't retorting to a particular post.
Paul offered me a monitor for a tenner, he then PM'd me to say that someone else has offered him more money and if this other person does not collect I can have it.
Where I come from, a proffer is honoured, and I certainly wouldn't pull the rug from under someone elses feet.

@Pete

First of all  i am disgusted that you have brought stuff in private messages to the public which is just damn uncalled for..

Also there was no "pulling the rug from under someone elses feet"  on my part, but when someone offers me over three times as much i will take it unless the item was promised to someone.
