Title: Question for USA Amiga gear sellers

Has PayPal requested your tax information?  Yes or No.  They have requested mine, even though I am way below the threshold of $20,000 in sales necessary for them to report to the IRS with a 1099-K form.

I'd really appreciate a reply from a couple of you in the US -- even if you're a casual seller that has sold just a handful of items and accepted payment via PayPal in 2011. Please let me know.

I sold a bunch of stuff and they never asked me.

My wife sells things here and there, but they haven't asked for ours.

Since they didn't ask and we're no where near $5,000, I assumed my feedback would be of little help.  There it is though.

Thanks guys.  PayPal customer service is not giving me the truth, since they told me that everyone selling and accepting PayPal is required to submit their tax info!
