Title: hard drive setup for amiga 4000

hi:)

Does anyone know what the best way of preping a hard drive so my amiga can detect a bigger partition than 4gig using winuae then setting it back so i can use in a real amiga 4000 and installing classic workbench:laughing:

To what extent do you mean "Setup"?  Are you installing just the OS?  What version?

This will help us get a better feel as to what your options are. ;)

If i partition first one say 2gig workbench sometimes freezers is it because its too large to be formated

It's a good idea to keep boot partitions less than 500mb or so and keep them at the very beginning of the disk.  Other than that, follow the cwb/os3.9 guide that has been linked and you will be good to go :)
