3rd slot from the right of the picture, what the heck is that?   A PS/2 hub? :-)

Could just be a cooling fan. I know A2000's get hot inside because they don't have very good air circulation. Things are too tight.

A2232 7 serial port card. They use Mac-like serial cables I have two of them in my 3000.

ah yes the A2232!  Boy does that pic bring back memories for me.  I used one of those boards when I ran a multiline BBS on my 2000.
