Wow, a micro-SD card drive for Commodore PET computers! PETdisk is now on the market in kit form for $25 US (not including shipping). PETdisk is made of two components, the primary board attaching to the IEEE-488 port on the PET and the secondary board attaching to the cassette port of the PET.
To read up on the PETdisk description, see videos on PETdisk, brush up on the user instructions, and peruse the assembly instructions, go to

damn... Commodore PET 4032 series... the first computer I ever used. It made me ask my parents for a VIC-20.

Hi,
Mine was a Radio Shack Tandy 1000 (first one on market) but unlike you, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I had to save up and buy my VIC-20. The only reason I got to use the Tandy was my dad who bought it, also bought magazines at that time and guess who got to type in all the programs. My parents always said you have to work for your leisure time.

Shame that nobody has a link to decent archive of PET games TAPS/D64s then.

Long before Apple, HP and the rest, Commodore had the AIO All-in-One computer! Great to see.

Awesome! Now all I need is a PET to go alongside my TRS-80 Model III :)
-
yikes, I have 4 complete Pets but not sure I'd ever go down this road... good to know however

Seriously a TRS-80, aka the "Trash-80"?
Excellent. I'll watch your intervention on the show Hoarding Buried Alive.

The PETdisk developer says "other users [report] that the PETdisk works on C64 and 128 with an IEEE-488 cartridge interface".

I have to say at only $25 for the kit, that is a damn good price for something that does what it does.
Using the cassette port card is only for power if you want to make it self contained instead of having to plug in the USB port on the main board to power is a Very very very nice idea. Plus having connectors for audio inputs to play cassette programs into it to copy to the SD. Very slick. Then on top of that still being able to plug in drives.
I'm not big on kits with my fumblefingers, but this one is tempting. I barely use my Pet because of my worry about the old old old floppy drives.
