Title: PPC Dual G4 Mac (Digital Audio) and MorphOS?

Spent months tracking down a G4, bought it, got it home, MorphOS wont boot - says console failed, I presume this means im not going to be seeing MorphOS :-((( confirmation?

Sorry just realised theres a MorphOS specific forum, trying to delete but i dont see how!

Might help if you post some specific specs (GFX-card ?)....

"Console failed" ? Does that bring you to an OF-prompt ? If yes type "mac-boot" to give a 2nd try.

Digital Audio Powermacs often have Nvidia GeForce2 MX gfx cards which aren't supported by MorphOS.  If that's the case you'll need to swap it out for an ATI Rage or Radeon card (check http://www.morphos.de for list of compatible cards) with Mac bios.
