Hi All,
I wonder if someone can shed some light on this. I have a couple of old original A500 games that I figured I'd be able to get up and running on my A1200 '030 with WHDLoad.
The games in question are L.E.D. Storm by Capcom and Chase H.Q. by Ocean.
I've installed WHDLoad, sorted out the ROM images into the right directory etc. and gone through the WHDLoad docs but I can't for the life of me figure out how to actually make it work.
I have the LEDStorm and ChaseHQ archives from WHDLoad and I figure I can start from the shell using:
WHDLoad LEDstorm.slave
But this fails with error #205 Can't lock "data". Whatever that means.
I figure I'm meant to do something with the original disk but what? The docs are pretty scant in this area and unfortunately, I'm not psychic :(
Any pointers are appreciated :D

Typical. I solved it (for LED Storm at least :D)
I created a folder called data and copied the game files from the original disk and then started it using WHDLoad LEDStorm.slave NOCACHE.
Seems to work a treat... Chase HQ next :D

Every WHDLoad package includes an installer (http://whdload.de/download.html) - just run that.
(You need the Amiga Installer utility (http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/Installer-43_3).)
