Hey, anyone from Zagreb, Croatia here? I'm looking for a free bed or sofa for a friend of mine who's coming to Zagreb the 24th till 29th of this month, sept. 2011. She's from California and have no big demands, just need a safe place to sleep and keep her stuff while she's on a conference during the day. Amiga people can be trusted, right? :)

You call her a friend and then you want to dump her on a random stranger. That's charming that is. :lol:

Yeah well, I'm not in Zagreb :)
Looks like couchsurfing.org will be the answer here, haven't got much respons even from people I do know there, sigh.

Mind you, couchsurfing isn't just a free bed provider. A big part of the philosophy behind it is bringing people closer together and create understanding between cultures. I.e. hippies ;).
If you create a bare bones profile today and start asking for hosters tomorrow, you're probably not going to get a lot of response..

Odin: know that, profile's not new, and hippie is a description that fits her just fine, but it doesn't hurt to check out other channels than just the couch surfing site.
