Hi everyone,
I am hoping that someone here can help me out.
I have searched online without much luck for scans of Amiga Active magazine issues 24 and 25 (Amiga mazazine rack only has scans of the index pages). I am specifically after the Tutorial articles on writing install scripts.
If anyone here can scan those pages in their own copies (if they have them) or know where I can get the scans of even people who have re-written the articles somewhere online I would be very gratefull.
I used to have the mags but I have missplaced them and unfortuantly the last cover CD did not have back-ups of those issues on it (it only has upto issues 21).
Thanks

At present I am 6000 miles away from my magazines, but I am certain I have those issues.
I'll be home in about a month if you can wait that long!

Thats great! Unless someone else can give me the scans (or if I can try and find my copies) I can wait for now.
Thanks.

If you don't manage to get hold of the magazine scans, perhaps the archive InstallerGuide.lha on aminet could be of use.

I see bombjack.org don't have any Amiga Active listed here either (http://www.bombjack.org/commodore/amiga-magazines.htm) - if you feel like making them available to a wider audience, I'm sure it'd be appreciated if you contact him... :)

yes he does, but only up to issue 6, unless you mean another mag.

Doh. I completely looked straight past that despite checking the page twice. Anyway, still lots of issues to fill in :)

I take it no one else can get me the scans?

It's just possible I have a complete set and could fill in all the gaps.
Unfortunately I spend only a few weeks at home a year lately, so this is a relatively big job for me.
I'll do what I can.

I would like to thank those people who contacted me with offers to scan the articles from Amiga Active for me.
Thanks for the offer, someone has now sent me the scans.
This is one of the reasons why I love the Amiga community, people will go out their way to do something for a stranger!

All the AmigaActive masterclasses, including the Installer one, are available in AmigaGuide format from http://amigan.1emu.net/aw/aactive.zip
