The CDTV keyboard doesn't have the same connector as the A4000 (the plastic keying is moved slightly resulting in it breaking of if pressed into an A4000). Also the two are diffrently wired.

I just want one for the keys.....it's proving very difficult to get hold of one....

But how is that possible? ....Hmmm.... I have a CDTV keyboard and it works on my A4000. Does that mean that it has been *modified* to work on an A4000? I don't have a CDTV system so I can't test it there.

Thank you. I've requested that the Amibay thread be closed.
@SkidMajor
Let me know if you're interested in this modified keyboard

I believe to use my CDTV keyboard on a non-CDTV, I opened it and reversed the plug going to the keyboard wire, pretty simple and easily reversible.
