Where is Franko? :confused:

Perhaps he's taking a break. Even franko is allowed days off.

He hasn't been online since Piru tried to ban him.

Ahem. Piru did no such thing. He wrote a client-side javascript filter (improving upon the behaviour of the built-in ingore feature) so that people that don't wish to read posts made by users of their choosing don't have to.

Perhaps franko's realised that thanks to this new filter, he's lost part of his target audience and got bored. Who can say? Last I read, he was pursuing legal action for targeted harassment or something.

Actually as far fetched as it sounds the thought did occur to me. He has been having issues with his account lately so i thought maybe him not being here isn't by choice. By the way i am quick to point out he has been quite well behaved lately so no reason to try and ban him anyway. Piru on the other hand hasn't...

If you have an issue with any of Piru's or indeed anybody else's posts, report them and leave it to the moderators to sort, the end.

That's a hint, by the way.

It might be because they merged his account with another to solve a problem so the Franko you have on your list is actually a different Franko.

Why would you block smerf? He's harmless!  :confused:

I'm guessing you don't understand his dry sense of humour?  :)

*Sigh*

If you really need it and the built-in ignore feature doesn't seem to work for you, there's always Piru's javascript filter.

X1000 = AmigaOne X1000
Shouldn´t this be A1X1k? A1k is sometimes used to refer to the original Amiga.

Also:
AAA = Advanced AA (AAAA?)
IANAL = I am not a lamer (14m3r):lol:
APC = Amiga Persecution Complex http://www.catb.org/jargon/html/A/Amiga-Persecution-Complex.html

Not sure I like C= and CUSA in the same reference, since the original chicken-head company has a little more space in the hearts of men.

PCMCIA - People Can't Memorize Computer Industry Acronyms
P5 - Phase5
WTF - what the f-
SDK - software development kit
x64 - 64-bit instruction set (x86 "extension")
SMB - Server Message Block (Window Networking)

I always thought UAE was the Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator.

Since there are several old-school NNTP/IRC/chat acros in the list, I'll add a couple more:

STFU - shut the f- up
GTFO - get the f- out
FTFU - fixed that for you (I've seen it a few times as FT4U)
FML - f- my life
FTW - for the win
FTFW - for the f-ing win
(or just #include various Internet slang dictionaries)

A couple of Commodore related ones (IIRC):

VIC - Video Interface Chip (or Controller)
SID - Sound Interface Device

Last but not least, a few Amiga-related ones:

SD - scan doubler
SD/FF - scan doubler/flicker fixer
RKM - ROM Kernel Manual
NDK - Native Development Kit

LHA = Compression Format, but again not shore what it stands for.
