I do not have the skill to build something like this, but I bet if someone built a few of these, we'd buy them...

They were sold as prebuilt too. Maybe you can find them as used.

It was/is pretty good solution for mp3 playback on Amigas. Friend had that for living room music solution ;) Amiga had minimal boot disk which mounted network share and loaded rest of the system and mp3s from there.

I have a couple of those, both the standard and the pro version, and they do their job well.

Well subject to testing and building, Amiga-Digital's A550 will have one, it will play mp3's or with a click of switch get back to the sound of the Amiga.

A switch would be a must! Very cool!
